Capacity versus the coolant you actually add
The 14.3 qt / 13.5 L figure is Ford's system capacity. It is not a promise that a partial drain and refill will take exactly this amount: coolant remaining in the system changes how much you need to add. Ford's manual calls for coolant meeting its prescribed specification, not an arbitrary colour-match or generic universal coolant.

This is a US-market 2024 F-150 5.0L V8 reference. The 2.7L and 3.5L EcoBoost, hybrid PowerBoost, Raptor and other model years are not covered by this capacity.

Ford lists WSS-M97B57-A2. Do not mix incompatible coolant formulations. Check the actual vehicle's manual and existing coolant before topping up.
