2025 F-150 Severe Service: Read the Conditions Beside the Interval
Does towing mean every 2025 F-150 automatically uses the chart’s 60,000-mile spark-plug row?
Not from this chart alone. Ford’s 2025 manual defines towing and several other uses as severe, but its 60,000-mile spark-plug row carries a separate footnote for vehicles with the pickup-bed power outlet and severe service. Read both the use condition and equipment limitation.

Severe use is a condition list, not just a mileage label
Ford lists short trips below roughly five to ten miles, unusually low or high temperatures, dusty use, extended idling and heavy-load or trailer operation among severe conditions. Record the actual use pattern when requesting a maintenance schedule.
The air-filter paragraph separately says life depends on dust exposure and that such use needs frequent inspection and replacement. A normal distance table is not permission to ignore a filter loaded by the operating environment.

Keep the spark-plug footnote attached to its row
The 60,000-mile spark-plug entry and accessory-belt inspection carry footnote 2 on the next page. That footnote specifies vehicles with the pickup-bed power outlet and severe service. Towing alone therefore does not establish that this particular row applies to every F-150.
The chart contains other rows with different equipment notes, including Raptor-specific off-road items. Do not mix those conditions into a single “severe service kit”. Match the engine, equipment and applicable vehicle-specific schedule before authorising work.

This is not a second version of the 2024 oil-life article
The original source is the 2025 publication with a July 2024 edition footer. Its own scheduled and general-maintenance text includes hybrid qualifications; this article does not resolve those into a universal PowerBoost oil interval.
For a complete schedule, use Ford’s vehicle-specific lookup and the delivered manual, and clarify any conflicting applicability with Ford. The existing 2024 oil-life and pressure-warning articles remain separate and unchanged; their figures are not transferred into this 2025 reference.

These are manufacturer-referenced values for the named configurations only. Read the exact source for your engine, trim and market instead of carrying a measurement across model names or model years.

Match the exact vehicle.
Check 1
Do not apply a 2024 schedule, another market’s interval or the Raptor-only footnote to every truck.
Check 2
Hybrid operation and the manual’s oil-interval wording need their own applicability check; no blanket hybrid oil ceiling is stated here.
Check 3
Use the vehicle-specific Ford schedule and dealer confirmation for the full required service set.
Where the numbers came from
Newly retrieved original 2025 PDF, not a translated or same-year different-market page. Visually checked printed 635–636 / PDF 639–640 together so footnote 2 remains attached to the 60,000-mile row; read complete severe-use definition and filter paragraph on printed 637 / PDF 641. Manual’s general hybrid/oil wording and axle exceptions are not flattened into a universal schedule.
