ZR-V e:HEV and petrol need different service fluids.
How much engine oil does a Honda ZR-V take, and what tyre pressure does it need?
Honda's 2023 Japanese owner's manuals list 4.0 L with a filter change (3.7 L oil only) for the 2.0 L e:HEV (6AA-RZ4/RZ6) and 3.5 L (3.2 L oil only) for the 1.5 L petrol (5BA-RZ3/RZ5). Coolant, transmission fluid, 12 V battery and spark plug also differ. Both list 225/55R18 tyres at 230 kPa front and 220 kPa rear.
Applicable to: Japan-market Honda ZR-V within the 2023 web owner's-manual edition only: e:HEV 6AA-RZ4/6AA-RZ6 and 1.5 L petrol 5BA-RZ3/5BA-RZ5. HR-V and ZR-V for other markets are not covered.

Check 1
Check the model type code on the registration: 6AA-RZ4/RZ6 are the e:HEV hybrid, 5BA-RZ3/RZ5 the 1.5 L petrol. The 'ZR-V' name alone does not tell you which oil, coolant or battery applies.
Check 2
Oil quantities are Honda reference values; confirm the level on the dipstick after refilling.
Check 3
These manual tables cover the listed factory 225/55R18 tyres. Different wheels require manufacturer-approved fitment and pressure guidance; a load table alone does not establish an approved replacement.
Check 4
These are Japanese-market 2023 manual editions. Later editions, the HR-V and export models may differ.
Where the numbers came from
Read Honda's public Japanese web owner's manuals for the ZR-V e:HEV (2023) and ZR-V (2023), vehicle specifications page. Applicability to model type codes comes from Honda's recall notices 5552 and 5553, which list 5BA-RZ3/RZ5 and 6AA-RZ4/RZ6 as ZR-V from October/November 2022. All values were extracted twice on 2026-10-20 and matched; psi is calculated from kPa and rounded.
