ZR-V recalls: which model codes and build dates are affected.

The short answer

Which Honda ZR-V recalls apply to my car in Japan?

The five Honda Japan notices examined here include ZR-V recalls. This is not a complete or current recall clearance. Three cover only the e:HEV (6AA-RZ4/RZ6): engine computer (2023), high-voltage battery and high-pressure fuel pump (2024). The steering gearbox recall (2024) and seatback frame recall (2026) cover petrol and hybrid codes. Check the frame ranges and affected replacement-parts provisions with Honda.

Applicable to: Japan-market Honda ZR-V recall notices published by Honda (honda.co.jp/recall), filed between July 2023 and July 2026. Build periods are summarised; whether a car is affected requires Honda confirmation of its frame number and any affected replacement parts.

02 / Before you use these values

Match the exact vehicle.

Check 1

Use Honda's official recall search with the frame number (車台番号) from the vehicle inspection certificate. Honda notes that each range also contains vehicles that are not affected.

Check 2

A build-date window alone does not establish inclusion. The notices also cover certain replacement parts fitted outside identifiable frame ranges; consult Honda using the frame number and replacement history.

Check 3

Imported ZR-V and HR-V in other markets have their own national recall records; these Japanese notices do not establish whether an export car is affected.

03 / Verification and next answers

Where the numbers came from

Read each Honda Japan recall notice that names the ZR-V and recorded the notice number, filing date, affected part, model type codes and production periods exactly as listed. Japanese era dates were converted to the Gregorian calendar (Reiwa 4 = 2022). Vehicle counts are not quoted because the notices combine ZR-V and Civic totals.
