Suzuki or Mitsubishi kei car: which fuel tank is larger?
Do the Suzuki Hustler, Wagon R and Mitsubishi eK cars use the same size fuel tank?
Not all of them. The cited Suzuki Hustler MR31S and Wagon R MH55S editions have 27-litre tanks, while the cited Mitsubishi eK Wagon B11W PLUS Edition has 30 litres. The later eK X's listed B34W/B35W/B37W/B38W variants have 27 litres. These are nominal Japanese-market tank specifications, not the quantity you must refuel.
Applicable to: Japan-market kei-vehicle editions: Suzuki Hustler January 2014 DBA-MR31S; Wagon R February 2017 DAA-MH55S; Mitsubishi eK Wagon B11W PLUS Edition and eK X B34W/B35W/B37W/B38W 2025 manufacturer sheet. Verify trim, period and vehicle code.

Match the exact vehicle.
Check 1
Confirm Japanese-market model code, source-edition date, equipment and 2WD/4WD grade. The B11W eK Wagon and B34W–B38W eK X are different generations and models.
Check 2
27 L and 30 L are nominal tank capacities, not refuelling instructions or guaranteed usable reserve. A low-fuel warning does not mean the tank is empty.
Check 3
Do not assume the same nominal tank size for an Indian-market Wagon R, overseas Suzuki Alto, Mitsubishi Mirage, another eK generation or any vehicle with a different code.
Where the numbers came from
CarFactBook cross-compared two original Suzuki archived Japan-model specification PDFs (Hustler MR31S and Wagon R MH55S) with Mitsubishi Motors' original eK Wagon B11W PLUS Edition grade PDF and eK X B34W–B38W Japanese manufacturer sheet. Each configuration retains its own original-source link and market/edition scope; the 3 L difference is calculated only between the listed nominal tank capacities.
