Global vehicle catalog

Every manufacturer, every nameplate

Find a car by manufacturer and model name, including models no longer sold. Each entry shows which official source lists it, for which market and years. Detailed chassis profiles link from here as they are published.

106manufacturers
1,808model nameplates
56nameplates with detailed chassis profiles
1247no longer listed by their source

A catalog entry confirms that a manufacturer used a nameplate in a market. It does not establish generations, chassis codes or specifications; those appear only on detailed profiles with their own sources. A shared nameplate does not mean the same vehicle in every market.

Sources and coverage

  • Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (JP): Japan-market nameplates in Honda's official archive of cars it has sold. Listed catalogue periods include minor changes, so they are sales windows, not generations. Source. 69 records; batch jp-honda-archive-20261031.
  • Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (国土交通省) (JP): Japanese domestic passenger cars listed in MLIT's annual fuel-economy lists (March editions; cars on sale at the end of the previous year). Does not establish generations; fuel-economy values are not copied. Source. 250 records; batch jp-mlit-chassis-20261031.
  • U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Department of Energy (fueleconomy.gov) (US): Vehicles tested for US fuel-economy labels since model year 1984. Source. 1,292 records; batch us-epa-20261031.
  • U.S. Department of Transportation, NHTSA (US): Make and model names that manufacturers registered with NHTSA by model year and vehicle type.
