BYD plug-in hybrid models
SEAL U DM-i is not a battery-only EV: it contains a petrol engine. Electric-only WLTP range does not replace gasoline service, fluids or manufacturer-required maintenance.
Battery, range and charging comparisons
Every comparison links to original BYD manufacturer material and labels the precise launch period, country and drivetrain. A WLTP estimate is never a guaranteed driving distance.

Ownership questions requiring exact manufacturer manuals
Real servicing questions such as 12V battery replacement, coolant types, tyre pressure, service intervals, DC charging limitations and traction-battery warranty terms must be checked against country- and year-specific original owner manuals. EV high-voltage battery and cooling-system work is not a generic DIY procedure.
Plug-in hybrids such as the SEAL U DM-i contain a combustion engine and require distinct maintenance guidance; no published figures here establish its exact engine oil or other service fill.
