Engine control ECU program recall

Honda recalled affected Fit and Vezel hybrid vehicles because the engine-control ECU program could allow excessive motor drive torque in specific clutch-learning and engine-start conditions.

Why it matters

The vehicle can momentarily accelerate without the driver intending it, or can make a sudden start in certain conditions.
