India Celerio K10C: Blue or Yellow Factory Coolant?
Can an Indian Celerio owner add water or another coloured coolant without identifying the factory type?
Identify the original coolant type first. Maruti’s Celerio manual separates Suzuki LLC Super (Blue), supplied at its working dilution, from Standard (Yellow), which has different mixture instructions. It does not give one top-up rule for both.
Applicable to: India Celerio K10C petrol; linked 99011M81R09-74W manual, cover March 2026, official petrol selection for cars sold on/after 9 July 2024. Not earlier K10B, an unknown aftermarket fluid or another Maruti coolant circuit.

Two notices describe different products
The manual says the originally filled coolant can differ with production period. It names Super (Blue) and Standard (Yellow), then gives separate handling instructions. Applying the Standard mixing instruction to the Super product would erase that distinction.
For Super, Maruti says it is already diluted and warns against adding Standard, extra distilled water or other products. The Standard notice has its own concentration and temperature qualifications. Read the applicable box rather than choosing a universal water percentage.

Resolve an unknown service history before mixing
The factory colour reference helps identify the original named product. It is not proof that a previous owner’s same-coloured aftermarket fill has the same chemistry. If the current fluid or service history is uncertain, ask an authorised workshop to identify the correct next step.
Maruti warns against mixing base coolant types and directs inspection following a mix-up. It also calls for authorised inspection when changing from the specified Standard fill to Super. This article does not turn those cautions into an owner conversion or flushing sequence.

A reservoir check is different from replacement
The level check is at the reservoir with the engine cool, between LOW and FULL, and the manual warns against exceeding FULL. Do not open a hot system to confirm a nominal quantity.
Replacement involves special procedures for which Maruti directs the owner to an authorised workshop. No guessed drain volume, cross-model refill or universal replacement interval is supplied here. Keep the actual coolant type and production-period manual on the service record.

Match the exact vehicle.
Check 1
Do not mix different base coolant types; manufacturer colour names are not approval for any same-coloured aftermarket fluid.
Check 2
Super-to-Standard mix-up or a proposed Standard-to-Super change requires the manual’s authorised-workshop guidance.
Check 3
Check only when cool; replacement requires special procedures and is directed to an authorised Maruti workshop.
Where the numbers came from
Original cover and K10C table (printed 9-6 / PDF 277) checked. Read complete printed 6-9–6-11 / PDF 223–225, including the two separately boxed coolant notices, mixing warning and production-period note. Colour is used only as Maruti’s original-type identifier; no inferred universal product substitution or interval.
