Recalls & safety campaigns
Campaigns shown here have been manually mapped to this model code from manufacturer records.
Sienta Hybrid water-ingress / engine-damage recall
Toyota states that inadequate waterproofing at the cowl-louver service-hole cover can allow heavy rainwater to enter the engine combustion chamber through the injector mounting area.
Water ingress can deform a connecting rod, cause abnormal noise and, in the worst case, damage the engine and make the vehicle unable to continue driving.
Toyota adds a drainage guide and hood seal, inspects the combustion chamber and replaces the engine if an abnormality is found.
Toyota recall 5131 lists DAA-NHP170G / 6AA-NHP170G, chassis range NHP170-7000016 through NHP170-7265654, production 2015-05-07 through 2022-03-12. The published range can include individual vehicles that are not affected; confirm the exact chassis with Toyota.
Parts & replacement references
Exact replacement specifications already verified for this model code. CarFactBook does not guess aftermarket compatibility from a similar-looking vehicle.
Confirm key equipment before purchase.
Use the Toyota-specified brake fluid; service interval is not inferred from the specification table.
NHP170G hybrid engine cooling circuit.
0W-20 and 5W-30 are also listed in the 2020 hybrid manual; quantity is a service reference, not a substitute for final dipstick verification.
Toyota says to consult a dealer when replacement is necessary; no replacement interval is inferred here.
Separate hybrid inverter cooling circuit.
Only for halogen-headlamp-equipped NHP170G vehicles.
Cold pressures. Confirm the driver-door placard for the exact vehicle.
Fitment can vary by trim, equipment and production change. Where the source states a configuration condition, that condition controls over the model-code label alone.
Vehicle valuation
Asking-price evidence only becomes public after the minimum comparable-data threshold is met.
CarFactBook only publishes a market estimate after collecting enough comparable observations for this exact model code and market. We do not invent a price when the evidence is too thin.
